delivered by expert Mr. Abdelkader Kherrat.

About the Speaker:
Mr. Abdelkader Kherrat graduated from the National Polytechnic School of El Harrach in 1987 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Awarded a scholarship, he pursued further studies in Canada, where he earned a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and a second Master’s in Aerospace Engineering before joining Bombardier Aerospace.
He served as a Principal Engineer at Bombardier Aerospace for over 25 years, gaining extensive experience in the development and certification of new aircraft programs. Throughout his career, he contributed to six major programs: Global Express, CRJ 700, Challenger 300, Challenger 605, Learjet 85, and Global 7500/8000.
Following his retirement from Bombardier, he joined Wisk to participate in the development and certification of an electric, autonomous vertical take-off and landing aircraft.
In addition to his industrial career, Mr. Kherrat has been a lecturer at Polytechnique Montréal since 2004, supervises Algerian students, and has organized an inter-university Algerian competition in aeronautics and rocketry since 2017.
